What is Polyglycerol?

Polyglycerol is a type of polyol obtained by polymerization of glycerin derived from natural plants.

Due to its moisturizing and water-locking properties, polyglycerol is widely used in various cosmetics, such as toners, essences, masks, various lotions, creams, etc.; it can also be used in baby products without irritation.

In addition, polyglycerol can significantly improve the surface flexibility and hydrophilicity of hydrophobic fibers, and can be used as a dyeing aid for water-insoluble dyes;

Polyglycerol can also be used as an intermediate to react with epoxy compounds, fatty acids and fatty amines to produce various epoxy adducts, polyglycerol fatty acid esters and fatty amine polyglyceryl ether derivatives.
